Brooke McCalla (Pickering, ON/Dunbarton) and Heidi Griffiths (Clarence, NY/Clarence) lead the offensive attack for UB with a goal each while Andrea Vescio (Niagara Falls, ON, A.N. Myer) and Jennifer Mihok (Schenectady, NY/Guilderland) each contributed an assist on the afternoon.

After dominating offensively from the pitch, the Bulls got on the scoreboard in the 11 th minute when McCalla settled a pass from Vescio and Mihok and headed it between the pipes to give UB an early 1-0 advantage.

10 minutes later, Griffiths’ hard work up front paid off, as the senior attack found herself open, ultimately scoring an unassisted goal from 15 yards out to push the Bulls ahead by two.

Buffalo held the two-goal advantage until the 73 rd minute when Vermont’s Jessica Becker slipped the ball past UB goalkeeper Amy Coron (Farmington, NY/Victor) from inside the box.

Coron finished with three saves in the match.
