The Bulls got on the scoreboard early in the game, as senior Heidi Griffiths (Clarence, NY/Clarence) scored in the 28th minute on a pass from freshman Lindsey Bailey (Burlington, ON/Assumption). Despite holding the lead through much of the contest, Canisius mounted a comeback in the 79th minute when Amanda Janosky evened the game, 1-1.

Griffiths goal was her second of the season through the team’s first two games, while Bailey’s assist served as her first career assist.
