Carolyn McNamara to Join Bulls for 2009 McNamara comes to Buffalo from the Albertson Fury club team BUFFALO, NY- Carolyn McNamara (Baldwin, NY/Kellenberg Memorial) will join the Buffalo Women’s soccer team beginning next fall as a non-recruited walk-on, as announced by Head Coach Michael Thomas. Carolyn joins the Bulls from perennial club powerhouse Albertson Fury. During her time with the Fury her team has been four-time State Champions, won the Raleigh shootout twice and has placed in numerous other tournaments. In addition to manning the backline for Albertson, Carolyn has had a successful prep career at Kellenberg Memorial High School where, in addition to being an honor roll student, she has helped lead the team to the league playoffs and semifinals. Coach Thomas on Carolyn: “Carolyn comes from a very accomplished club environment. She has trained and played at the very highest levels of club soccer and we are excited to get those experiences onto the fields at the University At Buffalo Soccer Program.”
