Buffalo Women's Soccer Earns NSCAA Team Ethics Award
In order to do qualify for the Silver Award, a team had to have between one to five yellow cards and no red cards. A Gold Award goes to programs that go through a season without yellow cards or red cards. A Bronze Award goes to programs that have six to 10 yellow cards and no red cards in a season. The award is Buffalo's fourth from the NSCAA this year, as the team also earned its first Academic Award as the 2004-05 team had a 3.39 GPA during the school year. Junior Jessica Roesch (Grandview, CO/Centennial) and senior Natalia Crofut (East Aurora, NY/Iroquois) also earned third-team Scholar All-East Region honors.
The 2005 team finished 5-11-2 overall and 3-7-1 in MAC action under 11th-year head coach Jean-A. Tassy. |
