Women's Soccer Nets 22 UB Scholar Athletes

Calvert, Rounds and Szafranski collect perfect 4.0 GPAs during fall semester

BUFFALO, NY- Seniors Anna-Lesa Calvert (Dallas, TX/Bryan Adams) (psychology), Jennifer Rounds (Vestal, NY/Vestal) (psychology) and Lindsay Szafranski (Williamsville, NY/Williamsville East) (exercise science) each posted perfect 4.0 GPAs to lead a crop of 22 University at Buffalo women's soccer players in the fall who earned UB Scholar Athlete status.

The women's soccer team had a 3.401 team GPA to lead all of Buffalo's 18 sports teams, just nudging out the women's cross country team, which came in at 3.346.

A UB athlete must have a semester grade point average of 3.0 or higher to earn Scholar Athlete status. Buffalo finished the season 7-11-1 under 10th-year head coach Jean-A Tassy.
