Seven Bulls Named To MAC Academic Honor RollBUFFALO, NY - Seven women's soccer student-athletes were named to the 2001 Mid-American Conference Academic Honor Roll, as announced by the league office.
In addition, midfielders Mislin and Devon Russell were named to the Academic All-MAC team for having a 3.25 GPA or higher and participating in at least 50 percent of Buffalo's games during the 2001 season.
Student-athletes must obtain a cumulative GPA of 3.00 or higher and earn a letter for the current season to be eligible for the honor roll. The Bulls
made their fourth straight appearance in the Mid-American Conference Tournament but were
eliminated prematurely with a 7-0 loss at Miami on November 6. The young and talented Bulls will return
20 underclassman for the 2002 season and will lose just one senior off their 26-woman roster. |
