UB's women's soccer team went 2-0 this past week winning both their season and home opener. The Bulls traveled crosstown to Niagara on Tuesday for their season opener at Niagara University. Buffalo dominated every aspect of the game scoring four goals and allowing the Purple Eagles only three shots and no goals. Three Bulls scored with sophomore Paula Listrani leading the way with two goals while freshman Mary Doheny (Bay Village, OH) and senior captain Julie Listrani (Rochester, NY/Greece-Athena) scored one apiece. Goalkeeper sophomore Jamie Adams (Rochester, NY) turned in a solid performance with three saves and allowing no goals.

On Sunday the Bulls opened up with a win at home against Bucknell, 3-1. Three Bulls scored in the game with Paula Listrani, sophomore Amy Woods (Liverpool, NY) and senior Julie Listrani scoring one apiece. Jamie Adams made 13 saves in picking up the win.

The Bulls host Canisius Wednesday night at RAC Field. Game time is 7:00pm.
