Bulls Earn Weekend Split
The University at Buffalo women's soccer team earned a split this weekend in Florida, defeating Florida International 1-0 on Friday (10/3) but dropping a 2-1 decision at Florida Atlantic on Sunday (10/5).
Freshman forward Paula Listrani (Rochester, NY/Greece-Athena) scored the only goal against Florida International while freshman goalkeeper Jaime Adams (Rochester, NY/Greece-Arcadia) earned her third straight shutout of the season against. Adams' goals-against-average is now 0.73 in seven games played this season.
On Sunday, UB saw their three-game winning streak come to a halt at Florida Atlantic, losing 2-1. Junior forward Tricia DiQuattro (Rochester, NY/Aquinas) scored the lone goal for UB who saw their record fall to 3-6-1.
The Bulls (3-6-1) will next face Columbia on Saturday (10/11) and Dartmouth on Sunday (10/12) at the Dartmouth Tournament in Hanover, NH.
