Bulls Defeat Canisius, 1-0
BUFFALO, NY - The University at Buffalo women's soccer team defeated Canisius College 1-0 in 30-degree temperatures and rain Tuesday night, ending their three-game losing skid. UB is now 5-9-1 on the season.
UB controlled the game throughout, outshooting the Griffs 18-9, holding a 7-1 advantage at halftime. However it wasn't until the 64th minute that freshman forward Paula Listrani took scored off a pass from midfielder Lauren Hartmayer to get the win for the Bulls. UB goalkeeper Jaime Adams made five saves in the win.
The Bulls (5-9-1) continue their three-game roadtrip when they travel to the midwest to face Bowling Green on Friday (10/24) and Eastern Michigan on Sunday (10/26).
