Overview: Gives the Bulls a spark off the bench...has good size for a guard and is very physical...is a strong rebounder...has a good work ethic...has international playing experience...plays with a style similar to that of former UB standout and Mexico native Sonia Ortega.

2006-07: Appeared in three games for the Bulls as she saw action against Youngstown St. (11/21) and in both contests against Bowling Green (1/6, 2/17)...UB Scholar Athlete.

2005-06: Appeared in 18 games off the bench in her sophomore season...finished the year with averages of 0.6 points and 0.3 rebounds per game...also had four assists and four steals on the year...had two points on five different occasions, including against Auburn (11/22) when she sunk two free throws...that was in the midst of a four-game stretch where she had a basket in each game, beginning with Canisius (11/18) and Syracuse (11/20)...also had a season-high two rebounds against the Orange...had a basket in UB's road victory at Lafayette (11/30)...also scored in the regular-season finale against Kent State (2/28)...recorded a rebound, two assists and a steal against Western Michigan (2/11)...UB Scholar Athlete.

2004-05: Appeared in 22 games in her freshman season...finished the year with averages of 1.3 points and 1.6 rebounds per game...also had 10 assists and nine steals on the year...had a season-high seven points, three rebounds, three assists, two blocks and one steal at Kent State (3/1) in the regular season finale...began her collegiate career in the season opener at No. 4 Connecticut (11/19), grabbing one rebound and dishing one assist...had six points, five rebounds and two steals in a win over Lafayette (11/27)...had two points and four rebounds against both Niagara (12/11) and Marshall (1/22)...UB Scholar Athlete.

High School: Averaged 15 points, 7.5 rebounds, 3.5 assists and 2.1 steals per game...competed with Mexico's National Team, along with Sonia Ortega, that placed fourth in the Pre-Olympic Games in Mexico in September of 2003...has also been on teams that placed third in the Centro American Games in El Salvador in November of 2001 and fourth at the Centrobasket Tournament in Mexico in June of 2003.

Personal: Born May 31, 1986...full name is Maria Diana Orozco Gollaz...daughter of Francisco and Patricia...has one sister (Sofia) and one brother (Dante)...considers playing in the Pre-Olympic Tournament as her greatest athletic experience...says her dad and Michael Jordan are her greatest athletic influences...considers herself to be the toughest opponent she has ever faced...admires her mom because of her strength, her dedication, her loyalty and her intelligence...says the hardest part about being a Division I athlete is having to leave her family...calls Sonia Ortega the most impressive person she has ever met...majoring in geography.
