2008-09: Played in 30 of 32 games for the Bulls, making one start...picked up her first career double-double with 10 points and 10 rebounds against Providence (12/16)...had a career-high 11 rebounds against St. John’s (12/20)...recorded a season-high 13 points against Niagara (11/25)...also reached double figures with 10 points against Bowling Green (2/25)...had eights points and six rebounds at Central Michigan (1/24)...recorded four steals against Hofstra (12/6), which tied a career high, while also recording a career-high three assists...blocked a career-best two shots at Akron (1/10). 2007-08: Made 23 appearances off the bench for the Bulls...averaged 4.2 points and 2.5 rebounds per game...had a career-high 18 points and career-best nine rebounds at Massachusetts (12/22)...named UB female athlete of the week (12/24)...scored 12 points, grabbed seven rebounds and had a career-best four steals in a 55-51 win at Akron (1/12)...missed seven games during the middle of conference play due to a broken thumb. High School: Earned four letters and was a two-year captain for head coach Rob Barcus at Parsons High School... was one of 63 players named to the Kansas McDonald’s All-American Team, a list that included both male and female high school basketball players in Kansas...averaged 15.7 points and 5.0 rebounds per game and 6.5 steals per contest during her senior year...was named a two-time MVP at the Iola Tourney where she led her team to a first place finish...was a Southeast Kansas League First Team selection for three years and a third-team selection for one year...set numerous school records and was a nine-time state champion in track and field where she ran the 100, 200, 400 and 4x100 meter races...also earned three letters on the volleyball team at Parsons and one letter on the cheerleading squad. Personal: Born June 24, 1989...daughter of Roger Thompson and Angela T. Thompson..has two siblings (Keyandria and Kaelend)...was recruited by numerous schools for basketball and track and field, including LSU, Alabama, Louisiana-Monroe, Wichita State, Kansas State and Kansas, but chose UB because it is a great campus and the girls on the team...also chose UB because her cousin Natosha Cummings-Price played for Buffalo from 1993-95 and is now the head coach at Erie Community College...lists her proudest accomplishment at UB as doing the Ed Fitzsimmons workout plan...lists her greatest accomplishment as playing with Lynette Woodard, who was the first female member of the Harlem Globetrotters...would like to become a 1,000-point scorer for UB and wants to play in the WNBA for the Los Angles Sparks...is majoring in exercise science/sports psychology with the goal of becoming a pediatrician.
