Overview: A very athletic player that plays the four, but can also play a little bit of the three...can score off of penetration, but also has the ability to create her own shot.

High School: Earned four letters and was a two-year captain for head coach Tanisha Franklin at The Rayen High School...helped lead her team to a 20-4 record as a senior as she averaged a double-double with 17 points and 12 rebounds per game, while also adding six blocks and two steals per contest...set the school record for rebounds in a game in 2004 with 21...was named first-team Steel Valley in 2006 and 2007, as well as the Defensive Player of the Year and Impact Player of the Year during those two seasons...team was Steel Valley Conference Champions during her junior and senior year and district champions as a senior...also earned two letters as a member of the volleyball team for the Tigers.

Personal: Born February 15, 1989...daughter of William and Karen...has two brothers (Michael and Markus)...full name is Tieara-Lynn Michelle Jones...her nicknames include Tee-Tee and Bug-a-Boo...chose UB over Bowling Green, Akron, Canisius, Indiana, Sacred Heart, Kent State, Detroit and Ohio because of the coaching staff, the campus and the team...her greatest athletic accomplishment is that she just started playing basketball in the eighth grade and was able to become a Division I athlete...says that the best part about being an athlete is that you get to represent your university in a positive manner....if she could be any cartoon character, it would be SpongeBob SquarePants...plans to major in media study with a goal to write, direct and produce films.
