Overview: Brings much-needed size to the low post...at 6-3, is UB’s tallest player...a low post scorer who has a lot of mobility and versatility for her size...had a brekout season in 2006-07.

2006-07: Appeared in 22 games and recorded the first two starts of her career...recorded a career-high 15 points against St. Bonaventure (11/19) to help the Bulls win the St. Bonaventure Shootout...also had five rebounds against the Bonnies, which tied a season high and four blocks, which was a career high...had five rebounds and seven points against Detroit (11/14)...finished the season 7-for-9 from the free throw line...had five points and four rebounds against Ohio (1/10)...UB Scholar Athlete.

2005-06: Appeared in 24 games off the bench...averaged 2.6 points and 0.9 rebounds per game...recorded a career-high 10 points against Auburn (11/22) during a season-high 20 minutes of action...scored two points and added two rebounds in the season-opener against Canisius (11/18)...added six points against Niagara (12/3)...also scored six points in UB s conference-opening victory at Miami (1/7)...scored eight points and recorded four rebounds against Kent State (2/28)...UB Scholar Athlete.

2004-05: Appeared in 14 games off the bench...averaged 0.8 points and 0.7 rebounds per game...saw her first collegiate action at No. 4 Connecticut (11/19) in the season opener, scoring two points and grabbing two rebounds...also grabbed two rebounds against both Central Michigan (2/12) and Kent State (2/16)...had four points on 2-of-3 shooting, two rebounds, one assist and two steals in 11 minutes at Youngstown State (12/14)...also scored against Miami (1/12), Eastern Michigan (2/9) and Kent State (2/16)...UB Scholar Athlete.

High School: Played club basketball for four years with BK Strakonice... averaged 13 points, seven rebounds, four blocks, four assists and four steals...played in the Czech Republic Championship, finishing first once, second twice and third twice...also finished first in the Czech Republic High School Championship...also a member of the Czech Junior National Team for two years.

Personal: Born May 27, 1985...nickname is Bára...daughter of Jirí and Hana...has one brother (Ondrej)...chose UB over Tulane, Portland, Texas Christian, New Mexico and Siena...came to Buffalo because of the academic opportunities, the basketball opportunities and the area...favorite things about Buffalo are the people and the weather...considers her mother and her coach at Strakonice to be her greatest athletic influences...says finishing first in the Czech Republic Championship is her greatest athletic experience...majoring in business.
