Bulls Beat Idaho State, Move to 6-1

Four players score in double figures as Buffalo extends winning streak to six games

BUFFALO, NY - The University at Buffalo women's basketball team moved to 6-1 and extended its winning streak to six games after knocking off Idaho State, 58-46 in non-conference action on Saturday (12/11). The Bulls, who are undefeated in Alumni Arena this season at 3-0, had four players score in double figures in the game.

Junior center Tiffany Bell (Alexandria, VA/Hayfield) led all scorers in the game with 18 points. Bell also pulled down 16 rebounds and went 8-of-10 from the free-throw line.

Other double figure scorers for the Bulls included freshmen Katie Blazewski (Plymouth, MI/Detroit Country Day) who had a career-high 12 points in the game. Senior guard Sonia Ortega (Chihuahua, Mexico/Cobach) and junior guard Nisha Wilson (Toronto, Ontario/Hampton Univeristy) each added 10 points in the Bulls victory.

The Bulls continue non-conference play on Dec. 21 against Youngstown State in Alumni Arena at 7:30pm.
