In the classroom, Cooper is in the top 10 percent of her class and has made high honor roll in every marking period. “As a staff we are thrilled that a player of Chrissy’s caliber was still available at such a late date,” said Hill-MacDonald. “She is an outstanding shooter who comers from a great basketball program at State College High School. She provides us with additional depth at the guard position and we look forward to her arrival on campus to meet her new teammates. ” Cooper joins a class that already includes Abby Dowd (Tipp City, OH/Tippecanoe), Amy Gardner (Medina, OH/Walsh Jesuit), Nikki Hopkins (Lima, OH/Bath) and Nytor Longar (Rochester, MN/John Marshall).
