Kourtney Brown Named To The All-MAC Second Team Redshirt Sophomore is averaging 16.5 and 8.1 points per game
Brown leads the Bulls with 16.5 points, 8.1 rebounds, 49 blocks and a .585 field goal percentage playing in her first season since coming off an ACL injury last year. Brown has 11 20-point games on the season and two 30-point games, becoming the first UB player to record 30 points in a game in nearly six years. Brown also has eight double-doubles on the season. The Solon, OH native has been named the MAC East Player of the Week three times this year, the most by a UB player since the 2001 season. She is joined on the second team by Miami’s Jenna Schone, CMU’s Britni Houghton, Lauren Hmiel from Ohio and Tanika Mays from Toledo. The Bulls play in the first round of the MAC Tournament tomorrow afternoon when they face Northern Illinois at 2:00 pm.
