Bulls To Host MAC Playoff Game

Buffalo hosts Akron Monday night in MAC Women’s Basketball Tournament

BUFFALO, NY - The University at Buffalo women's basketball program will host the first Mid-American Conference playoff game in school history on Monday, Feb. 28th.

The Bulls (17-10, 7-9 in the MAC), the No. 8 seed, will host No. 9 Akron at 7:30 pm at Alumni Arena. The winner of the first round game will travel to Cleveland, OH to play No. 1 Kent on Thursday at 1:00 pm at Cleveland's Public Hall in a quarterfinal game.

The Bulls and Zips split a pair of regular season games with each team winning on the other's home court. Akron leads the all-time series, 4-3. The Bulls are 7-2 all-time in conference playoff games at Alumni Arena.
