BUFFALO, NY – The University at Buffalo women’s basketball game against the Toledo Rockets this Saturday will be televised live on Time Warner Cable and the Buckeye Cable Sports Network in Ohio. The game, which begins at 2:00 pm, has been designated as UB’s “Think Pink” game.

Providing play-by-play for the game will be Josh Whetzel, the radio voice of the UB men’s basketball team and radio voice of the Rochester Red Wings. He will be joined by Brian Koziol, who will be providing color commentary. Koziol is the color analyst for the UB football team.

UB enters the game with an 11-10 record and a 4-4 mark in Mid-American Conference play after its 73-62 victory at Ball State last Sunday. The Bulls are led by senior Stephanie Bennett (Springfield, OH/Kenton Ridge) who had a game-high 24 points against the Cardinals and during the game became the 17th player in school history to join the 1,000-point club. Bennett is averaging 12.8 points per game.

Toledo comes to Alumni Arena with a 10-10 mark and a 3-5 record in the MAC after falling at home to Bowling Green last Saturday. The Rockets are led by sophomore Allie Clifton, who is averaging 15.8 points per game.

The event is “Think Pink” day at UB. UB’s student organization, True Blue, has been selling shirts prior to the game with profits being donated at half time of the game. “Think Pink” t-shirts are being sold for $5 and can be picked up at tomorrow’s game. Fans who are able to make it to the game are urged to wear pink. Fans can purchase tickets to the game at the Alumni Arena Ticket Office, which is open Monday - Friday, 9am - 5pm. For additional information, call the Bulls Ticket Hotline at 716-645-6666.
