The Bulls led very early in the game, but a hot-shooting Bucknell team took over and grabbed a lead that it would hold on to. Bucknell extended its lead in the second half as it outscored the Bulls, 37-26 in the final 20 minutes of action. The Bison led by as many as 23 points in the game, but the Bulls kept fighting, getting to within 18, which was the final scoring margin. Sophomore Bridgette Kendricks had eight points and six rebounds off the bench, while sophomore Jessica Fortman added eight points, two assists, two blocked shots and two steals. The six blocks by the team were their most since the Niagara win when they also had six blocked shots.
