The University at Buffalo women's basketball team defeated Syracuse 67 - 58 before 1,042 at Alumni Arena. UB improved to 8-3 while Syracuse fell to 7-2.

Charissa Gardner led UB with 14 points, while Tiffany Bell added 13 and Catherine Jacob 12 as the Bulls extended their current winning streak to four. Syracuse was led by Teakyta Barnes who netted 15 points.

In what was a very sloppy game for both teams, UB trailed early before going on a 13-5 run to take a 15-12 lead on a Jacob jump shot with 8:39 left in the first half. The first half ended with the Bulls holding a 25-21 advantage. UB shots 57% from the floor in the second half to slowly pull away.

UB's next game is December 28 with a trip to Marshall.
