UB 91 - Robert Morris 53
The University at Buffalo women's
basketball team improved their record to 3-1 with a 91-53 win over visiting
Robert Morris in Alumni Arena. Robert Morris fell to 0-3.
UB used a deep bench to pull away in the second half. The Bulls had 10 players with at least 10 minutes of playing time. Junior guard Megan McCray led UB with 16 points, and senior forward Charissa Gardner had 11.
Sonia Ortega, a freshman from Chihuahua Mexico, had another impressive performance with 15 points, seven steals and 6 assists.
UB will be in action this weekend at the Central Florida Tournament which includes the host team, Bowling Green, Butler, Denver, and Sam Houston State.
