Paja Grasevova begins her third season as Director of Basketball Operations and Video Editing. Grasevova is in charge of coordinating team travel as well as editing game film. She is also in charge of the team budget, scheduling and alumni relations.
Three years ago, as a graduate assistant in Human Resources for UB Athletics, Grasevova served as the editor of all game film for the Bulls. Following the 05-06 season, Grasevova graduated from UB with her MBA in International Business and Marketing.
A native of the Czech Republic where she played for the junior national team for three years, Grasevova began her collegiate playing career at Genesee Community College. She spent two seasons with the Cougars before transferring to Canisius College for two seasons. In 2001, Grasevova became the first international athlete on the Canisius women‘s basketball team and to this day is still the only player from overseas to wear a Golden Griffins’ uniform. Grasevova, whose given first name is Pavla, graduated from Canisius in 2003 with a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration.
