Alumni Arena: Volleyball Sport-Court

Volleyball Sport Court

The University at Buffalo's Alumni Arena was the site of volleyball competition during the 1993 World University Games in Buffalo, and UB retained a specially-designed sport-court for volleyball following that event. The unique sport-court is set up on the floor of the main gym for all of the Bulls' home matches. The forgiving surface reduces stress to athletes' ankles, knees, lower backs and shins and provides added traction when stopping and starting, making Alumni Arena one of the most enjoyable facilities to play volleyball at in the Mid-American Conference.
