High School: Earned four letters and captained one season at Lockport High School. Coached by UB shot put and discus record holder Sarah Vance. A shot put All-American after placing fourth at the National Scholastic Indoor Championships. Finished second in the shot put and third in the discus at the 2009 state federation championships. Placed third in the indoor shot put at the 2009 state meet. Niagara Frontier League champion in the shot put and discus. Also played volleyball for the Lions as an outside hitter earning four letters.

Personal: Born November 21, 1990. Daughter of Jeffrey and Paula Miller. Has one sister (Brenna). Favorite food is chocolate. Favorite TV show is The Office. Lists New York State and national champion shot putter Melissa Kurzdorfer as her toughest opponent. Has done charatable work with Upstate New York Transplant Services (UNYTS). Majoring in biomedical science.
