High School: Earned three letters and captained one season for coaches Bernie Gardner and Dave Ghidiu at Honeoye Falls High School. Finished 43rd at the 2009 state cross country championships, helping the team to a fourth-place finish. Part of three sectinal and four Livingston County cross country championship teams. Earned All-Greater Rochester track honorable mention honors.

Personal: Born February 11, 1991. Daughter of Gary and Debra Denton. Has one brother (Bradley) and one sister (Anne Marie). A 2008 Empire State Games silver medalist in nordic skiing. Has done charatable work at Rochester’s Strong Memorial Hospital and with Special Olympics. Majoring in exercise science.
