PERSONAL BESTS
High Jump: 6-7

2006-07: Placed 10th in the high jump (6-2.75) at the MAC Outdoor Championshps. Finished 12th in the (6-2) at the MAC Indoor Championships. Set top marks of 6-7 for indoors and 6-6.75 for outdoors.

High School: Won 12 letters at Horseheads High School for coach Tom Jansen. Southern Tier Athletic Conference and Section IV champion in the high jump as a senior. Broke the high jump record at the school that had stood for 30 years.

Personal: Born March 18, 1988. Son of Dan and Kathy Tarshus. Has one sister (Andrea). Hobbies include snowboarding. Favorite food is bread. Favorite movie is Gladiator. Majoring in petroleum geology.
