2006-07: Finished 11th in the 60m (7.01) at the MAC Indoor Championships. Placed 17th in the 55m (6.50) at the IC4A Championships. Did not compete during the outdoor season.

High School: Won four letters at Eden High School for coaches Larry Huber, Tim Wade and Chris Dobeck. A two-time state champion in the 100-meters. Won sectional titles in the 100-meters in 2005 and 2006. Also earned all-league and Western New York honors in soccer, setting school records for goals in a season (31) and career (78).

Personal: Born July 10, 1988. Son of Mark and Julie Schichtel. Has two brothers (Mark, Matt) and two sisters (Lauren, Nicole). Favorite foods include hot chicken wings, chicken casserole and lobster. Favorite movies are Man on Fire and Boondock Saints. Majoring in business.
