2008-09: Did not compete during the indoor or outdoor track seasons.

2007-08: Scored points with his fifth-place high jump (6-8.25) and eighth-place triple jump (45-1.50) finishes at the MAC Indoor Championships. Placed eighth in the high jump (6-6.75) and ninth in the long jump (21-4.75) and triple jump (43-11.75) at the MAC Outdoor Championships.

2006-07: Selected as the Coaches Award winner following the indoor season. Set the indoor high jump record with a leap of 6-9 at the Akron Open, finishing second overall. Placed fifth in the high jump (6-6) at the MAC Indoor Championships and competed at the IC4A Championships. Finished sixth in the triple jump (46-0.75) and seventh in the high jump (6-6.75) at the MAC Outdoor Championships.

High School: The 2006 New York State high jump champion, clearing 6-4 in the state meet. Also earned Section II and league championships in his junior and senior seasons. Named to the Albany Times-Union’s all-star team as a junior and senior. First-team Big 10 All-Star indoor team as a junior and indoor and outdoor teams as a senior. Set Troy’s school record in high jump at 6-8. Also earned Section II all-star honors in football as a wide receiver and cornerback with the Flying Horses.

Personal: Born October 2, 1988. Son of Herbert and Carla Kennedy. Has one brother (Herbert III) and two sisters (Ramonia, Adrianna). Favorite athlete is American high jump record holder Hollis Conway. Favorite TV show is The Fresh Prince of Bel Air. Cousin of Earl “The Goat” Manigult, subject of the 1996 TV movie Rebound. Nickname is Skip. Majoring in computer science.
