2008-09: Finished eighth in the 400m hurdles (55.25) at the MAC Outdoor Track Championships, setting a season-best 54.30 in the qualifying heats. Named Academic All-MAC in outdoor track.

2007-08: Part of the third-place Distance Medley Relay (10:09.41) at the MAC Indoor Championships, earning an IC4A qualifying mark. Finished 13th in the 400m hurdles (58.13) at the MAC Outdoor Championships. Set top 400m hurdles (55.28) at the UB Invitational.

2006-07: Ran the second leg of UB’s third-place 4x400 relay (3:20.76) and finished 12th in the 400m hurdles (56.27) at the MAC Outdoor Championships. Part of UB’s 4x400 relay entry (3:19.53) at the IC4A Indoor Championships.

High School: Earned three letters and captained two seasons at Cathedral Prep High School for coach Chet Moffet. Won first-team all-district honors in 2005 and 2006. Won league championship in 300m hurdles in 2006. Also named to all-region team. Participated in junior olympics.

Personal: Born August 11, 1988. Son of Charles and Tammy Hagerty. Has one sister (Kirsten). Hobbies include playing the drums. Enjoys alternative rock and lists Foo Fighters as his favorite group. Favorite athlete is Jeremy Wariner. Favorite food is chicken sandwiches. Majoring in biology.
