2008-09: Helped Bulls to a second-place finish in the 4x400m relay in a school record 3:13.43 at the MAC Indoor Championships handling the third leg of the relay. Part of UB’s record-setting Sprint Medley Relay (3:26.63). Finished 13th in the 400m (50.82) at the MAC Outdoor Championships.

2007-08: Part of UB’s indoor and outdoor relays. Helped Bulls to a third-place finish in the 4x100m relay (41.25) at the MAC Outdoor Championships. Placed ninth in the 60m (7.10) and 11th in the 200m (22.94) at the MAC Indoor Championships. Finished ninth in the 400m (49.37) at MAC outdoor meet.

High School: Earned five letters and captained two seasons for coach Walter Larkin Jr. at Edison Tech. State champion in the indoor 300m (35.39). Finished second in the 200m at the 2006 state championships. Won four city catholic and four sectional titles in 2006 and 2007. Earned All-Greater Rochester honors in track and was a two-time all-city selection as a running back with the Inventors.

Personal: Born October 27, 1989. Son of Leroy Giles and Deborah Austin. Has three sisters (Alyssa Tyson, Deborah Austin, Macelva Giles) and two brothers (Cameron Tyson, Matt Giles). Favorite athlete is Brett Favre. Favorite food is macaroni and cheese. Favorite movie is Scarface. Major is undecided.
