2008-09: Part of the third-place Distance Medley Relay (10:00.16) at the MAC Indoor Championships. Finished 10th in the mile (4:25.79) at the MAC indoor meet. Placed fifth in the 800m in a season-best 1:52.85 and helped the Bulls to a fourth-place showing in the 4x400m relay (3:13.73) at the MAC Outdoor Championships.

Previous College: Competed at Geneseo State for one season. Finished third in the indoor 500m (1:06.86) at the NYSCTC Championships. Raced in the outdoor 800m, placing fourth (1:55.47) at the NYSCTC meet and 15th (1:55.46) at the ECAC Championships.

High School: Earned four letters and captained one season at Oakfield-Alabama High School for coach Art Goldstein. Won Section V titles in the 400m and 600m. Set five individual and two relay records with the Hornets.

Personal: Born September 30, 1989. Son of Thomas and Sharen Brummert. Has one brother (Brandon) and one sister (Jadyn). Favorite TV show is Entourage. Favorite movie is The Shawshank Redemption. Majoring in pharmacy.
