High School: Won five letters at West Seneca West High School. Finished eighth in the discus throw at the 2007 state championships. Set school discus record as a senior with the Indians. Earned second-team ECIC honors as goalie on the soccer team and also played basketball.

Personal: Born January 8, 1989. Daughter of Ron and Denise Major. Has one brother and one sister. Favorite movie is The Notebook. Favorite athlete is Mia Hamm. Favorite musician is Chris Daughtry. Majoring in business administration.
