PERSONAL BESTS

2006-07: Earned All-East honors with her sixth-place finish in the pole vault (11-11.75) at the ECAC Indoor Championships. Tied for 10th at the MAC Indoor Championships (11-7.75). Placed eighth in the MAC Outdoor Championships (11-5.75). Finished fifth (11-5.75) at the Penn Relays. Earned Academic All-MAC for the outdoor season.

2005-06: Tied for eighth in the pole vault (11-8.50) at the MAC Indoor Championships. Qualified for ECAC Championships with indoor season-best height of 11-9.75. Set top outdoor mark of 11-7.75 at Gina Relays.

2004-05: Tied for 10th at the MAC Outdoor Championships in the pole vault (11-5.75). Set top heights of 11-6.25 (outdoors) and 11-0.25 (indoors).

High School: Earned nine letters and captained two seasons at Maple Grove High School for coach John Hiestad. Finished fifth at the state pole vault championships in 2004 (11-3). Placed second in the Minnesota Junior Olympics in 2003. Set school records in pole vault and triple jump. An All-Conference and All-State selection three straight years. Also earned All-Conference honors in gymnastics.

Personal: Born April 30, 1986. Daughter of David and Kathy Hinners. Has one brother (Kyle). Favorite athlete is 2004 Olympic silver medal vaulter Svetlana Feofanova. Favorite food is Cold Stone Creamery ice cream. Favorite TV show is the Discovery Channel’s Mythbusters. Environmental engineering major.
