2006-07: Competed in five cross country races with his top 8K time of 26:06, finishing 37th of 474 open division runners at the Paul Short Invitational. Placed 65th at the MAC Cross Country Championships (31:00.10). Finished 10th in the steeplechase (9:49.90) and 20th in the 5,000m (16:05.53) at the MAC Outdoor Championships. Did not compete indoors in 2006-07.

2005-06: Named Top Newcomer for cross country. Raced in eight events, turning in a top 8K mark of 26:27 at the MAC Championships, finishing 37th. Placed 11th in the mile (4:25.17) at the MAC Indoor Championships. Finished 13th in the steeplechase (9:44.16) at the MAC Outdoor meet.

High School: Earned seven letters and captained three seasons for coaches Emilio Mancino and Rick Stewart at West Seneca West High School. Won the Section VI steeplechase title and finished 11th in the race at the state meet in 2005. Also played three seasons of soccer, earning second-team all-star honors two years.
