PERSONAL BESTS

2006-07: Placed seventh in the shot put (55-2.25) at the MAC Indoor Championships. Scored an eighth-place finish in the shot put (53-0.25) at the MAC Outdoor Championships.

2005-06: Finished seventh in the shot put (53-1.75) at the MAC Indoor and ninth (53-7.75) at the IC4A Championships. Also qualified for the IC4A meet in the weight throw. Set top weight throw mark of 55-5.50. Did not compete in 2006 outdoor season.

2004-05: Placed 12th in the shot put (50-2) at the MAC Indoor Championships. Finished 15th in the discus (127-6) at the 2005 MAC Outdoor meet.

2003-04: Set personal-best of 150-2 in the discus. Placed 15th in the shot put and 16th in the discus at the MAC Outdoor meet.

High School: Earned four letters and captained two seasons at Howland High School for coach Ed Wilson. Named Trumball County MVP and All-Ohio in 2003. Finished fifth at the 2003 Ohio State Championships. Also a member of the Austintown Community Track Club where he was a three-time USATF Junior Olympics national qualifier, placing sixth in 2001 and earning All-America honors. Also earned three letters in wrestling.

Personal: Born April 11, 1985. Son of George Fetchko and Anna Martin. Has one sister (Ariel). Hobbies include hunting and fishing. Enjoys listening to AC/DC and lists Rolling Stones guitarist Keith Richards as his non-sports hero. Favorite food is grilled cheese. Mechanical engineering major.
