2005-06: Sat out the 2005-06 indoor and outdoor track seasons. 2004-05: Named the outdoor team’s Most Improved. All-MAC second-team honoree with her runner-up finish in the heptathlon (4,915 points) at the MAC Outdoor Championship with a gritty effort in the final event (800m) after an ankle injury at the start. Placed third in the pentathlon (3,595 points) at the MAC Indoor Championships. 2003-04: Placed sixth in the heptathlon at the MAC Outdoor Championships (4,584 points). Scored a sixth-place finish (3,447 points) in the pentathlon at the ECAC Indoor Championships. Finished ninth at the MAC Indoor Championships (3,363 points) in the pentathlon. High School: A two-year captain at Lyons High School for coach Ron Wheat. Placed fourth overall and third among small school entrants in the 2003 state championship pentathlon. Set six indoor and three outdoor records. Personal: Born February 22, 1984. Daughter of Joseph Perkins and Beverly Coney.
