Decathlon: 6,235

2006-07: Selected as men’s track Top Newcomer. Finished fifth in the decathlon (6,235 points) at the MAC Outdoor Championships. Placed seventh in the heptathlon (4,458 points) at the MAC Indoor Championships.

High School: Earned nine letters and captained one season at Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake High School for coach Chip Button. Finished fifth in the pentathlon at the New York State Championships and sixth in the state federation championships. Earned Suburban Council All-Star nods in the pentathlon and high jump in 2005 and 2006. Also played goalie for the Spartans’ soccer team.

Personal: Born March 12, 1988. Son of Ron and Diane Cameron. Has one sister (Larene) and one brother (Luke). Hobbies include juggling. Favorite movie is The Patriot. Favorite TV show is Prison Break. Major is undecided.
