PERSONAL BESTS
Pole Vault: 14-7.25

2006-07: Team’s top men’s vaulter as a freshman. Finished eighth in the pole vault (14-5.25) at the MAC Indoor Championships. Placed ninth (14-7.25) at the MAC Outdoor Championships. Posted top indoor and outdoor marks of 14-7.25 during the season.

High School: Won four letters at Starpoint High School for coach Matt Anastasia. The 2006 ECIC and Section VI pole vault champion. Finished fourth at the 2005 and 2006 state meets. Set Spartans record of 15-0 in the pole vault as a senior. Earned a silver medal at the 2005 Empire State Games. Also competed two seasons as a member of the Northern Elite Track Club qualifying for the junior olympics. Also lettered in wrestling winning league and section titles in the 160-pound weight class.

Personal: Born March 25, 1988. Son of Bob and Mindy Becker. Has two sisters (Nicole, Heather). Favorite TV show is House. Majoring in criminal justice and would to become a police officer.
