Bulls Head South Again

The University at Buffalo men's and women's track and field teams traveled to South Carolina again and took part in the Clemson Relays over the weekend. This was a non-scoring meet.

UB Relays Are Hot

Buffalo has broken school records in each of its two outdoor track meets this season. The sprint medley relay team of Jenelle Callendar (Brooklyn, NY/Brooklyn Tech) Katie Scott (Salamanca, NY/Salamanca), Cristina Keck (Erie, PA/McDowell) and Udo Okeke (Seattle, WA/Lagos) set a new UB record in with a time of 4:02.35 and captured first in that event. Casey Spencer (Corning, NY/Corning), Theresa Hummenyj (Auburn, NY/Auburn), Danielle Morrell (Fulton, NY/G. Ray Bodley) and Eileen Rose (Latham, NY/Shaler) are the new Buffalo distance medley relay records holders (12:31.10) while Sarah Kranzler (Central Square, NY/Paul V. Moore), Melissa Ryan (Oswego, NY/Oswego), Diane Corredor (Westfield, NY/Westfield) and Biaunca McFarland (Binghamton, NY/Binghmaton) broke UB's existing 4x200 relay record with a time of 1:44.03.

On the men's side, David Monk (Norwich, NY/Norwich), Brian Williams (New Hartford, NY/New Hartford), Todd Ludden (Hornell, NY/Hornell) and Ben Moskel (Williamsville, NY/Willimasville South) placed second in the 4x800 relay and also set a new school record (7:48.01). Tony David (Lima, NY/Honeoye Falls) was victorious in the 3000 meter steeple chase (9:27.62).
