Five UB Tracksters Named to Academic All-MAC Team

Jezorski, Koeppel, Kohout and Thompson named to women's team; Strelick makes men's squad

BUFFALO, NY - Five University at Buffalo student-athletes were named to the indoor track and field Academic All-Mid-American Conference team, the league announced today in Cleveland. Voting was conducted by the MAC's faculty athletic representatives.

A total of 27 student-athletes were named to the Academic All-MAC women's team while 16 men's honorees were selected. The number of honorees is set for the specific sport or 33 percent of the number of nominees, whichever is greater.

UB placed four women on the team, Jen Jezorski (Elmira, NY/Elmira Southside), Jenny Koeppel (Amherst, NY/Amherst), Kate Kohout (Clarence, NY/Clarence) and Faith Thompson (Niagara Falls, NY/Niagara Falls). Steve Strelick (Rochester, NY/Greece-Athena) was the lone men's representative for the Bulls.
