The men's 4x400-meter relay team claimed a first-place showing in the New York-New Jersey final as UB competed against squads from its own region. The Bulls finished in 3:16.24, just touching out second-place Binghamton (3:16.56) by a third of a second. Syracuse (3:17.08) and Columbia (3:19.05) finished third and fourth respectively.
