2008-2009: Sat out with an injury during the 2008-2009 season.

2007-08: Finished 12th in the 200 freestyle with a lifetime best time of 153.20 and 14th in the 200 backstroke (206.20) at the MAC Championship meet. Also, part of the 800 freestyle relay that finished sixth and recorded a season best time at MAC Championships.

High School: Won four letters and captained one season for coach Jim Thomas at Metuchen High School. A four-time conference champion in the 100 back and four-time all-county selection. Set the county record for the 100 backstroke.

Personal: Born August 4, 1989. Daughter of Brian and Judith Sharkey. Has one brother (Brian) and one sister (Lauren). Favorite athlete is Natalie Coughlin. Favorite food is lasagna. Majoring in exercise science.
