2008-2009: A member of the record-breaking 200 and 400 freestyle relays. Turned in life-time bests at the MAC Championship meet in the 100 freestyle (51.38) and 100 butterfly (56.05), placing 12th in both events. Named to the Academic All-MAC team at the conclusion of the 08-09 season, owning a 3.92 GPA.

2007-08: Placed seventh in the 50 freestyle (23.77), 15th in the 100 freestyle (52.40) and 16th in the 100 butterfly (57.62) at the MAC Championship meet. Also part of four UB relays that broke school records at the championship meet: swimming the butterfly leg of the fourth place 200 IM relay (144.21), the fourth place 200 freestyle relay (134.52), the fifth place 400 freestyle relay (326.82) and anchored the fifth place 400 IM relay (348.13).

2006-07: Finished 14th in the 100 butterfly (58.78) and 20th in the 50 freestyle (24.55) at the MAC Championships. Helped the Bulls to season-best times in the 200 free and 200 and 400 medley relays.

High School: Earned six letters and captained two seasons for coach Carol King at Lancaster High School. A three-time Section VI champion in the 100 butterfly and 50 freestyle events. Swam for the Tonawanda Titans Club for two years under current UB aquatics director Scott Vanderzell.

Personal: Born August 27, 1988. Daughter of Don and Cheryl Palma. Has one brother (Mike). Favorite food is peanut butter. Favorite TV show is Arrested Development. Favorite book is Candide. Majoring in history.
