High School: Won two letters at East Aurora High School for coach Rob Gipe. Helped the Blue Devils to a 26-2 record in his junior and senior seasons. Also lettered in track and soccer.

Personal: Born October 18, 1989. Son of Jerry and Joan Matter. Has three brothers (Jason, Josh, Jeff) and one sister (Jen). Favorite books include the Harry Potter series and anything by Clive Cussler. Favorite foods are seafood and steak. Favorite TV show is Scrubs. Majoring in biomedical sciences with plans on becoming a pediatrician.
