2008-2009: Earned a career-best time in the 50 freestyle (21.73) and the 100 freestyle (47.85) at the MAC Championship meet.

2007-2008: Earned career best times in the 100 butterfly (54.40) and the 50 freestyle (22.12) at the MAC Championship meet.

High School: Earned four letters and captained one season for coach Reed Dewey at Lansing High School. Part of school record setting 200 medley relay squad that earned All-American honors. Anchored the Bobcats’ entry in the 200 medley relay to a third-place finish at the New York State Championships in 2007.

Personal: Born April 11, 1989. Son of Eric Sievers and Linda Gell. Has one brother (Xavier) and three sisters (Valencia, Jessica Gell, Samantha Goldsmith). Hobbies include mountain biking and cliff jumping. Favorite athlete is U.S. olympic gymnast Paul Hamm. Favorite foods include pineapple and crepes. Majoring in business.
