Bulls look to continue momentum after defeating Duquesne last weekend

BUFFALO, NY- The Bulls are set to open their 2009- 2010 MAC schedule by traveling to Miami (Ohio) on Friday to take on the RedHawks, and will continue on to Ohio University on Saturday to face the Bobcats.

The Bulls (1-0, 0-0 MAC) are coming off a successful season opening 137.5-75.5 win over the Duquesne Dukes.

“I was very impressed by how they swam last weekend,” said head coach Andy Bashor.

Buffalo will have to bring their best performance in order to be successful this weekend. The Bulls were unable to come away with a win over the RedHawks in dual meet action last season, as Miami is the reigning MAC championship team, but the Bulls had better success against Ohio, tallying a win over the heavily-favored Bobcats last year.

“It’s going to be a good test for our team,” said senior Samantha Eckert. “We are excited and ready to go.”

Competition starts Friday at 4:00 pm in Oxford, Ohio and Saturday at 1:00 pm in Athens, Ohio.
