2007: Played in first four games of the season before suffering a season-ending injury.
2006: Played in 24 games, starting 16...hit .152 with seven hits and one RBI...recorded first career hit in 8-0 win over Canisius (3/15)...had a hit in the Bulls' 3-2 victory George Mason (3/19).
High School: A three-year letterwinner and two-year captain for head coach Gary Griffo at Westhill...first team all-league during junior and senior seasons...first team All-CNY in 2005....led team in batting average during her final two seasons...was also a member of the high school volleyball team and was named Libero of The Year.
Personal: Born February 22, 1987...plans to major in pharmacy...parents are Tom and Susan Kanavy...has two brothers, Taylor and Ryan...chose UB for the campus and the diversity...greatest athletic accomplishment was being the first team in 40 years to make it to the sectional championship two years in a row...lists her favorite TV show as One Tree Hill...lists her favorite athlete as Mickey Mantle.
