2007: Started 46 games...had team-high .242 bating average...led team in hits (30), walks (18) and runs scored (15)...finished 10-10 in stolen bases, second on team... had eight multiple hit games and enjoyed a seven game hitting streak.

2006: Played in all 58 games, starting 57...hit .240...tied for third in hits (41)...11-13 in stolen bases (tied for first with Mary Russell)...third on team in runs scored (20)...third on team in doubles (6)...had 10 multiple hit games...had four multiple RBI games...put down team-leading 13 Sac bunts, including two vs. East Carolina (3/25)... went 2-4 with one RBI and two stolen bases vs. Harvard (3/5)... went 3-3 in 6-0 loss vs. Penn State (3/24)...went 2-3 with two RBI's and one double in 7-4 win against Toledo (4/2).

2005: Named to the All-MAC Second Team as an at-large selection...named team’s top newcomer...led the Bulls with a .333 batting average in MAC games only...hit .226 overall (fourth on the team) with 10 runs scored and three RBIs...set a school single-season record with 13 sacrifices...finished tied for second on the team with 12 stolen bases in 16 attempts...tied the UB single-game record with three stolen bases in a 7-0 shutout of St. Bonaventure (4/27)...was also 2-for-3 with two runs scored against the Bonnies...had a squeeze bunt that allowed both runs to score in a 2-1 win at Northern Illinois (4/16)...was 2-for-3 with a run scored and an RBI in a 5-1 win over the Huskies in the nightcap...had two hits and two RBIs in a doubleheader sweep at Youngstown State (4/21)...was a combined 4-for-8 in a three-game series at Bowling Green (4/30-5/1)...was 2-for-3 with a double and a run scored in a 7-2 win over Ohio (5/7).

High School: Two-year captain at Claremont High Scool...had a .391 batting average and a .413 on base percentage as a senior...was a second-team All-Baseline League selection in 2002, 2003 and 2004...named team's Offensive Most Valuable Player and Defensive Most Valuable Player...played on the Southern California Vipers Gold 18-and-under team in 2003 and 2004...also played basketball at Claremont.

Personal: Born March 23, 1986...full name is Marcelina...plans to major in social science...parents are Matthew and Barbara Hansen...has two brothers, Matthew and Michael, and one sister, Kaytlin...chose UB over Toledo, Cal State Northridge and Ohio Wesleyan...admires her parents for always believing in her...her proudest accomplishment at UB is playing Division I softball...says the best thing about being a Division I athlete is meeting different players...would like to break the single-season stolen base record at UB.
