Doubleheader With Canisius Washed Away
BUFFALO, NY – The University at Buffalo softball team tried to fight the weather and get in its doubleheader with cross-town rival Canisius, but Mother Nature prevailed as the scheduled doubleheader has been cancelled. The teams got in the first inning of the first game, but lightning in the area put a stop to the game in the top of the second. No makeup date has been announced at this point.
The Bulls will host their final home series of the year this weekend against Kent State. Saturday’s contest will begin at 2:00 pm, while Sunday’s affair will be at 1:00 pm.
