Wild Weather Postpones Game With Canisius
BUFFALO, NY - While the spring season is in full effect at the University at Buffalo, the weather isn't exactly cooperating. UB's softball doubleheader at cross-town rival Canisus has been postponed due to snow in the area. The games will be made up as a doubleheader on April 18 at 1:30 pm.
The doubleheader was scheduled to be the first time that both teams were to play in Buffalo as both squads began the season down south. The Bulls already defeated the Golden Griffins once this season, an 8-0 victory at the USF Spring Break Tournament.
UB continues play this weekend when it travel to the ECU State Farm Pirate Classic for four games during the three-day tournament. The Bulls begin on Friday when they face Penn State at 12:00 pm. Buffalo opens its home portion of the schedule on Friday, March 31 when it hosts Bowling Green for a doubleheader at 1:00 pm.
